Prioritizing health and safety

At Syngene, we prioritize the well-being of everyone on our premises, including employees, contractors, casual workers, vendors and visitors. Utilizing a structured risk management system, we conduct rigorous training across all campuses, encouraging employees to report near misses. In case of incidents, each campus is equipped with occupational health facilities.

TrainingTeams meet weekly to discuss safety topics and employees receive weekly safety information sheets.

Emergency response training Each campus has an emergency response plan and teams, with regular mock drills and training to enhance preparedness for on-site emergencies.

Safety kiosk These facilities at each campus ensure all vendors and contractors receive safety training before starting work.

Incident tracking and reporting Utilizing digital tools like 'SynZero' for safety incident reporting and an online portal for recording biosafety indicators improved incident tracking and resolution.

Hazardous material safety

Our proactive safety stance focuses on preventing incidents. Increased hazard assessments, project safety reviews and the use of digital tools such as 'SynZero' contribute to effective safety management. Our commitment to safety is evident in various initiatives, including 'Gemba' safety walks and active participation in safety events.
