A Culture of Safety First

Our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) System, aligned with ISO 45001:2018, is implemented across all facilities. It integrates key safety tools like Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), Aspect & Impact Management (AIM), and Process Safety Management (PSM) to proactively identify and mitigate risks.

FY25 highlights

  • Total Recordable Case Frequency Rate (TRCFR) of 0.05
  • Current Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) stands at 0
  • Over 39 million hours worked with zero fatality or high-consequence injuries
  • 9 recordable work-related injuries
  • Zero lost workdays and no reported cases of work-related ill health

These outcomes reflect our unwavering commitment to Goal Zero’: zero harm to people, property and the environment.

FY26 targets

  • Total Recordable Case Frequency Rate (TRCFR) of 0.07
  • Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) of 0.04

Lab Safety Manager Program

We launched the Lab Safety Manager Program. Participants undergo structured training and certification at three levels, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Participants certified at Gold level are equipped to function as safety managers within their respective operating units. This initiative fosters a safety-first mindset within the line workforce and reduces reliance on external EHSS teams for daily compliance.

Incident Reporting and Continuous Improvement

We have deployed a digital platform, SynZero, for all employees to report safety concerns, incidents, and near misses.

The near miss reporting system has seen substantial growth, increasing from approximately 1,000 reports in FY20 to over 14,000 in FY25, reflecting a significant shift towards proactive hazard identification.
